Svenske mästaren 2007
vänsterprasslar nästa år.
The Northern Raider team started the
2007 season with a lot of problems, both of the engines were in
bad mood of delivering power and the transmission, the A-1
Proflite did not think twice of delivering overtime work to the
mechanics. The season went on to about Mantorp Park event in the
end of july before everything rocked and rolled. There we went to
the final but did not overcome the dragster of Peter Sattler, then
in the NDRS finals in Alastaro we were in the finals when the rain
came and in Malmö the win was ours after defeating all of our
competitors. All in all, we clinched the Swedish Championshíp in
Competition Eliminator and came second in the NDRS cup ( Seven
points differing from the winner!!) so to conclude this it was a
magical summer. We live very much in the north of Sweden, so get
to the events can be very much of an adventure, but I will not
tire you with my stories.. For the season of -08 we have bought a
Stock car from mr Esko Raisvou in Finland going to do a Rampy and
drive a Pontiac Ventura GTO 2 -74 in Stock a long side our effort
to go all the way in Comp. A life time long desire is to get to
Santa Pod and show the english and European gents what competition
eliminator is all about.. So Cheer up maybe we will be seeing you
in -08.
